i reckon it would help. anything lighter is a gain for the vehicle.

especially rotating objects like flywheels, wheels and all that kinda stuff.

Not always. For a flywheel and most other things yes, but for a crank pulley, its heavy for a reason.

You are better off changing your flywheel to a lighter one.
