Which splits to choose?

I'm juggling with which splits are better. I'm deciding between the JL Audio VR600CSI - http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/car-sound/c...r-system/435725 and Focal PolyKevlar 165k2.

I'd like to weigh up the pros/cons of each to determine which is better. What comes to mind is that the focal splits are 5 yrs old and second hand. Both are around the same price.

since the focal one is 5 years old, i would choose JL one.

JL also produces very good sound. Why not?
