hydro or cable gearbox? was the clutch fork greased when new clutch when in? master cylinder bled? check for any kinks in the hard lines of clutch line, what sort of clutch was it replaced with? ie. sports organic and above will usually feel firmer than stock.
Although if its getting firmer and firmer after every press, sounds like the fluid isnt returning properly to the master cylinder or the clutch fork may be stiff too?

I would say its a hydro, its a 92 EG

unsure, the mechanic did it all

i will check for kinks, but nothing would have changed since the new clutch went in i dont think, i think it may be a heavy duty clutch that went in? not sertain.

well not as quick as after every push, id say its more of an engine heat thats doing it, aka, when the engine is cold its fine and smooth and nice to use, then about 10 mins later when the engine is hot it hardens up, it also feels like the position of where the clutch is grabbing is moving up, aka further out the pedal when it grabs.

Sorry to bump a thread :P
This is only a surmise of the possibilities and nothing else.
For the most part I'd question the fitting than any other source of the problem (only as the most likely candidate for where the problem came from).
Now as to what could be doing it, assuming all was bled for air (air build up could be a main reason) then the most likely candidate is the slave/master cylinder(s), if it's happening a few minutes after the car is running then aside from the engine getting warmer the only other thing that's really changing is the pressure is building in your clutch. Some thing isn't releasing pressure properly by the sounds of it (cylinders or again air) which could be a lot of different things, from some thing as random as a pin being too short to the clutch having things put in backwards (don't laugh, it's happened before).
Don't go too happy changing things over though, I'd just have it looked at by the mechanic who did the installation (most obligated to fix it for less is why) and point out it doesn't seem to be releasing pressure properly.
Like I said just some thoughts.
Cheers man!
