Hey guys,
A few people said to post up some pics and info when i had finished the job. I have a 2003 Euro. The clutch started to go and 4th gear was crunching so i went with the DC5R combo. Which consisted of a JDM DC5R flywheel and a DC5R Exedy Sports Organic Racing clutch. I also got my 3rd and 4th synchro and sleeve changed. Well everything went to plan and here are some pics and info. Enjoy!

Here are some pics of the old clutch. As you can see not much meat left on the clutch plate, the car was slipping like anythin before i changed it.

Here are some pics of the JDM DC5R flywheel, just freshly had it machined- nice and shiny!

All turned out good. I am really happy with the results, there is a big difference in low-mid range acceleration and the gear changes are now alot easier and faster. Anyways let me know what you think and let me know if you have any questions.

yeh definately felt a change, it is much more responsive now in all gears, to be honet it is only a little bit harder and a touch harder to take off but it is definately worth it. There is a big increase in low-mid rang acceleartion. In regards to installing a LSD pulling out the gearbox and the clutch will be the same route. And are you installing a whole new box from a cl7 or are you just installing the lsd fwd diff?

The clutch is a liitle harder although not too much. But it is well worth it, big difference.

Looking good mate. Let us know about feed back once it runs in a bit more.
Did you get the JDM DC5R flywheel from JDMYARD? Would be hard to come across another one I think. My ORC has just gone... Time for 2nd clutch change... But I have something helical coming hoo hoo hoo..:P

Yes, putting in the LSD involves the same route. Have to open the gearbox up and swap out the open diff for the helical diff. Make sure you use someone who is experienced in Honda k-series gearbox.

LSD is nice on track, but not really advantageous on the street.

The stock Euro flywheel is just under 10kg - roughly 9.8kg.

The JDM DC5R one is 4.6kg

About 3-4 hours to take off and 3-4 hours back on, clutch assembly takes 5 mins easy. Can easily be done in a day
