Ok so i was just surfin' the net and came across this intake manifold from this website; http://www.australianauto.com.au

To get to the page for the IM on the left hand side bar click;
Engine Parts 4 Cyl > then top right click; Power Plus manifolds.

It's supposedly similar to the Type R IM but with " additional refinements".

Copied from the site;

Power+Plus Typhoon Manifold
Honda B Series Street Performance Intake Manifold
Patterned after JDM Type R manifolds with additional refinements. The plenum chamber has been lengthened to provide additional volume when used for supercharger, turbo or nitrous applications. The ultimate street performance manifold developed by Professional Products in conjunction with AEBS. Cast in nitrous bosses on underside of manifold. 65mm inlet. Retains good bottom end power.

Anyone heard of this or used it?

Just would like some information on it as i'm looking from a IM and wanted 'maybe' something different from the typical Skunk2 or Endelbrock for the p72 head.

Your link is wrong.
http://www.australianauto.com.au/

What do you need it for? Whats your setup?

How much is it?

Stock setup, mild-med mods, bang for buck ITR intake manifold. :thumbsup:

Whoa my bad.

Umm, basically i'm looking to do a B20 setup nothing major but wanting to change the IM for the setup, few internals on the head and bottom block, then see how we go from there.
As for the cost atm i don't know but hopefully not as much as standard ITR or Skunk2 IM's are. But gathering information as much as possible on various things before i pursue the build.

type r intake manifolds r cheap man you can pick them up for like 200-250 used but if ur gunna get one u might as well get a type r TB also which should only be like 50-100

Since you're thinking of b20 which have lots of bottom end torque (so they say)..
might as well get long narrow runners type of IM to enhance that low bottom end torque.

vtir im is quite long and narrow aren't they?

Umm, i got a p72 head so a Type R IM won't fit (i'm pretty sure). Throttle body i'll think about later i guess, once i have the IM sorted.
Oh and those prices to be honest i haven't seen here around Melbourne lol.

I'm not too sure about that topic at the moment. But if someone can give a bit of a highlight on that, that would be appreciated.
From what i hear a p72 head tend to be a good option for these B20 build correct me if i'm wrong.
