corroded radiator and water all orangey corroded engine bay

hey guys,
well my mates car is stuffed up and he has a dc4 teggy too

rad water is all orangey, bought the car as is so yeah.

the rad water is all orangey and corroded, there are signs of corrosion on the engine bay.. on the spark plug leads u can see the corroded dust...

i have no idea what it is.. so yeah, just trying to help him...

1. spark plugs are old . Replace
2. coolant is clearly old / mostly water too. Replace and flush the system and fill up again with decent premixed coolant , better to get Honda type 2 coolant.

as above definitely, but there might be an issue with the cooling system that led to an overflow which sprayed the coolant all over the bay...

yeah, it was just that we did a flush a week ago and its all dirty and orangey again? :S

Once it starts corroding, it won't stock. Replace the radiator and check your water pump as well.

What coolant did you use after flushing? Use Honda Type 2 as it is compatible with your water pump, alloy block and steel radiator.

replace radiator, reflush
