help on gauges

i was wondaring if anyone knows how to install an oil pressure gauge in a ek..

whats the brand of the oil pressure gauge.. u probably can find the installation guide in its website.

what part are you having trouble with?

the standard sensor is just above the oil filter you will have to replace that with the gauges sensor (or buy a T piece so you can run both)unless you have a mecanical gauge(i dont know how to install those). i installed eletric gauges.

i got a water temp n oil pressure..
i know where tto hook up all the wires..
jus the actual copper wire, sensor i believe..
n where do you guys think would be a good place to put dem..?

You need to buy a T piece for the oil pressure sensor unless you don’t want your oil light to work. You have to remove the standard sensor (just above the oil filter) and put the t-piece in and screw both sensors into that. I have my water temp sensor mounted in the radiator return housing. The metal bit before the top radiator hose. My advice is wire up the electrical side of it, run the electrical lines into the engine bay and have a mechanic install the sensors.

yup, with the sensors, it's better for someone with experience or knowledge to do it,..it saves a lot of grieve later on.
