Car went in to get some springs fitted and my front left shock is f***d.

At the moment the plan is to replace the two front shocks with aftermarket ones (koni's) and keep the rear ones stock. Then some tein s tech springs are to be fitted. Would anyone know an approximate price for the shocks or suggest some other shocks?

Also would there be any problems running aftermarket shocks at the front and stock at the rear?

The damping balance would be out of whack for front vs rear. I would recommend changing all 4 shocks if you were going aftermarket springs anyway since the stock shocks will wear out if lowered by 2" or more. If money is tight, get a single replacement front shock from the wreckers.

got quote for bilstein $610 for fronts, koni yellow $603.

i'm leaning towards the bilstein, called most suspension places in perth, only 1 could give me a price on bilsteins so far. Is $610 reasonable?

Rear is lighter and will take time to settle. And your springs could possibly designed for use with aftermarket low travel shocks, not stock shocks.

That is the auto leveller for the HIDs on the Euro Luxury. Is your model the luxury or the base model? You can get a bracket made for it.

Hmmm. That's odd.My Bilsteins have the auto leveller brackets.i did fit them over 3 years ago so maybe they changed them.

Mine never came with the brackets... Just sawed mine off and then slotted it on between the fork and the shock. It sits fine and i have no problems with mine what so ever.

You can see where it sits....
