Hi guys, im interested in changing my rims to rota p45r 18" wheels.
Only problem is after researching...it appears to me that they do not have offsets over 30+ and i know that for s2000s 40+ or 45+ is the recommended offset.
I currently have +40 on my car and they seem to be almost inline with the guard.
can i please have some advice on how this would look? would they rub? would they stick out?
Pictures would be a treat if you guys have any on s2000s

im mainly also interested in the offset because i want the concave look aswell

thanks heaps

You could rock a +30, hell, you could rock a +10, LOL - but we need to know how wide is the Rota P45R with the +30 offset?

18x8.0 +30? Difficult, but would fit with some modification to fenders
18x7.5 +30 (essentially making it a +42 as its 1/2 an inch narrower) - would fit

i was thinking of 9.0 at the rear and 8.0 at the front
but they come 18x9.5 +30
when u say modification of guards, would that mean rolling them? or pumping them out

This is 17x9 +35, just to give you an idea (pre-camber LOL)

FAIL.
ok...now im scared
why do s2000s have such a crap offset ratio
its unfair :(
most rims you cant get concaved because they start that look at 35+ or something like that

id def rock 18x9.5+30 :P....soon as i can find the right wheels im ditching my 17s in a similar offset for 18s :D

im running 17x9 +44 fronts - with -1.6* camber and rolled guards
and 18 x 9.5 +38 rears - with 3.3* camber and rolled guards

so essentially u can run the ones ur after...all depends if u wanna get ur guards rolled and run heaps of camber..like me! =D

oh and i forgot to add..that im also running stretched tyres to be able to make these widths and offsets work =) (225/45 and 235/40 respectively...its not that bad of a stretch imo =D )

if u dont like the stretched tyre...then its better off finding big width with high offset rims to properly run non-stretched tyres.

yea... that shouldn't fit without any major modifications to your guards....
Just think this may help. I am running 19X8.5 +45 all round with 225 tyres at the front and 245 tyres at the back... line up with the guard and no camber and never rub. Hope this may help

Hi guys! how about front 17x8 +35 rear 17x9 +38? Will they fit without modification to the guards? Cheers!!
