code 3 is map sensor not 02 sensor.

yup MAP sensor (ignore my typo)
check to see the clip is firmly held to the MAP sensor. IF so , replace with a known working MAP to see if that fixes the issue

make sure you havent got the TPS and MAP connectors crossed

crossed?
in what way ?
jords

he means they are plugged into the wrong sensor.

mmm are the plugs the same? geez i better check this now

yeh they are both the same, but most likely if they are both mixed up, then u should get 2 codes which is 3 and 7. You only have code 3, the problem most likely be the sensor.
Did u just do a conversion ? or u been driving same motor for a while?

if the TPS and MAP are crossed you usually only get one code ( 3 ) not 2 codes. then TPS is still in range when they are crossed.
