Hi guys, my SSCUS drivers seat went all wobbly the other day and when I pulled it down the steel frame inside is broken in 2 places. I'm getting dragged over the pits in a couple weeks and need it fixed up ASAP.

Is someone able (or know somewhere) to weld it up for me?
(will put up pics when i get home but should be simple/straight forward)

Cheers.

ask some of your mates who doil boiler making or something like that, anyone who has a welder at home should be able to do it quicksmart.

i would get new seats

instead of risking your life on the track with inferior fake products

imagine you got it rewelded and something happens and it fails again

say hello to the windscreen

EM1 = airbags ftw :thumbsup:

true, the sscus seem pretty flimsy and the frame looks crap. as much as I'd love to get new seats it just isn't in the budget at the mo - and with all the repairs/maintenance i've got coming up tracking it is even further out of the budget :thumbdwn:
i only got one mate with access to a welder but he can't get a hold of it until after my inspection :(

my car is really pissing me off right now!!

as Lan said.....

GET NEW SEATS

Dont fix by applying a weld bandaid. It WILL snap under load such as an accident or even a big bump in the road , bringing you back to square one.
