its a nice normal car. With light mods ( under $1000 worth of mods to both the suspension and engine bay) you can have a fun car.
Mods to do....
upgrade rear swaybar with a relevant swaybar mounting kit such as ASR , BEAKS or COMPTECH and a ITR rear swaybar
Get a nice intake for a nicer intake noise
Perhaps look at some lowering springs...nothing massive just a tiny bit lower such as kings or eibachs etc.
And the car will handle very well and be quite quick point to point.

Cold air intake, coilovers and rims. Try to get them all second hand if you can.
Pic of my car. I have to add that it's been very reliable in the past year of ownership.

Sorry about that, I forgot to ask if your car was facelift or pre.
I got my tow hook 2nd hand from a user on here ages ago. I think you can get them brand new from Jdmyard who is a trader on here.

Lookin for a while. Found one is front tow bar. I want to get a back tow bar. so... yea!
If just install a Beaks lower tie bar, wats the benefit for the handling? more stable while cornering?

wat engine does GSI DC2 got?
As above.....its a b18b engine , 1.8l DOHC non vtec.
Anyway to correct you - the DC4 is the GSi. The DC2 refers to VTiRs and ITR's.

comment on lowering the car? just change the springs or.....
dtrang

changing springs is relatively cheap suspension mod with either king springs or eibach as mentioned in previous posts. i have run king springs superlows and they look great and handle pretty decent. next step up you could do suspension wise is shocks or if money is not a problem go coilovers. if you are tight on a budget then go springs and/or shock combo. or i would probably go for ITR shocks and springs however you will need to change lower control arms (LCA) to ITR/eg6. i have seen itr shocks and springs from 150-250 and LCA from memory are about 180? for oem and higher for aftermarket brands.
depends on what you want is just lowered for looks or sussy performance as well. ITR spring and shock combo will not give you much drop unless you change the springs as well.

will it be any different when driving between change to a coilovers and springs + shock combo?
dtrang

coilovers are a shock and spring combo which are made to compliment each other and usually are damper and height adjustable providing more adjustability. coilovers are height adjustable by moving the washers along the threaded body of the shock.
springs and shock combo i mean is different brand of shock absorbers and springs.. say koni shocks and king springs. shock packages differ from different brands as some may have one damper setting or multiple and also they can be height adjustable. height i have heard some that the spring perch is adjusted higher/lower and changes the distance for the shock to compress and rebound.[correct me if im wrong or add more info] (shocks + spring set up usually less adjustable than coilovers).
difference in driving is all in the way you have your set up of damper and spring rate. coilovers you can adjust to whatever suits your needs. dial in soft for daily or dial in stiffer for spirited driving. usually one/little adjustablity set up for shock and spring.

I think they're a great car! Fast enough to be fun without getting you in trouble! Mine started life as a gsi, but now has vti-r engine, with apexi intake. No exhaust yet, but I managed to score a deal on a set of ohlins coil overs and they have made a huge difference in handling (and ride hight!!!!:))
