Now i've been in the stage for later down the track, looking further down i wanna supercharge my DC5R, i've got a mate who thinks supercharging wouldn't work aswell as a turbo set up.

On another note, from what i hear about the DC5 turbo set ups, theres tends to be alot of problems with them and supercharging i the way to go.

Other opinions on this.

i recently did alot of reading and research on this for the Type-S (K20Z1)

supercharging is the way to go ... you dont get the peak figures that you would with a turbo ... but if you want to chase numbers than you should have bought a different car lol

the supercharging fits better with ivtec and the ride and handeling of the car ... and it sounds amazing with ivtec, there are heeps of cool vids on youtube... and lots of info at hondatech

there are some good supercharing kits around in the US

from what i read turbos have alot more problems than superchargers with the DC5

good luck and let us know how u go!

yeah well i've heard people blowing pistons after 2 weeks of fitting there turbos in as theres WAY to much pressure on the stock internals as your boosting while vtec kicks in..
While having a supercharging your boosting at lower RPM to get to vtec quicker

u mad?
