Hi all,

Im just looking for a bit of help from anyone who may have fully removed a CRX boot lid.
My problem is that the top plastic sealing strip at the top of the back window (see pictures) has fallen of whilst driving.
I have a spare CRX which im thinking of just swapping the boots over, or my other option would be to take the plastic strip from my other CRX and transfer it to my current one.
Also can anyone advise on the procedure for removing the boot?
I know i have to undo the two boot struts, then remove the four bolts holding on the boot, but my problem is the two cables for the de-misters and windscreen wipers as im not sure whether they are plugs and not sure where they disconnect.
Any help would be much appreciated.

in my 1stgen crx, wiper and the dimister wires are not a connection but are feed through the boot lid. if the plastic strip is the only thing wrong with that boot lid, id just swap the plastic strip.

Ok.
My main problem is how to access this strip on my other CRX as it seems to be sealed to the window and im unsure how to unclip it with no visible access points.
Thanks for the speedy reply to my post.

by the pictures it SHOULD be a clip system. if you can leaver it up gently all along the strip it should pop up. you have to be very very gentle tho.

Thanks for the advice whiteballade.
I had figured it was a clip system, but i dont believe prying it up will pop it out, as the release clips appear to be on the side of facing towards the roof.
I will go have another look now to see if i can get some more information.

Thanks
