Hi all. Figured it was about time I introduced myself. I've been lurking for a while now!
I had a 93 Civic Sedan on air suspension a few years back,, and I sold it and bought a twin turbo Hilux dual cab. I regretted getting rid of the Honda as soon as it had gone, and recently I stumbled across a stock 92 EH9 sedan for a steal. It wasn't running, but thanks to the help from some other forum members, she's a goer once again..
I plan on putting air suspension under this one too, get it as low down as I can, and shave it. I know its not generally what most of you guys are into. but it's pretty easy to do, thanks to a wealth of aftermarket parts for these.

My name is Dave anyways, and I live on the Gold Coast. Hopefully I'll have a chance to meet some of you guys soon, and maybe tag along on a cruise or 2. Until then I'm off parts hunting!

The old & new!

Well, for anyone interested, I've been tinkering quite a bit lately. She's all rego'd and running quite well. Got a front strut brace, intake, put a stereo in it, and have been cruising around enjoying it for a while now.
Had a friend do a little airbrushing, too.
Also managed to score a set of cheap 17's, so if I can't make the 18's I have fit, I have a backup!

I just finished he first major mod - EK Civic Front end Swap

Stripped back

I didn't have the top Radiator Bracket, so I whipped one up out off 5mm Alloy Flat Bar.

No major plans for the engine. It's a D16A8, so it's good enough for what I need. It is getting a little tired tho, so I rebuild is on the cards for the near future.

Thanks, there was a bit of reshaping of the EK corners to get it all to line up and flow smoothly, but I'm happy with how they turned out. I had to massage the EK bodyline out of the corner sections too, to meet the original guard line.
I have seen a couple of examples where the majority of the EK guard has been used, and you just can't get the lines to look right, so I took the 'minimalistic' approach. :)

I would've gone for facelift EK front.
Are you shaving the moulds on the doors and the front bumper?
what did you do about the reverse lights that I'm assuming were in the boot lid?

I had a hard time finding any EK front Panels, but seemed easier to get the preface stuff.
I'm shaving the mouldings, but I'm still undecided about whether to shave the bodyline or not.
As for reverse lights, I'm doing that at the moment. I'm drilling into the indicator housing so they will share a lense.
