dc4 rattling sound..

ok so the car has a rattle sound when it is still, when i drive you can't hear it but when i slow down you can hear it. it sounds like its underneath the car around the shifter area.
anyone got any clues ?
would it be a loose screw or something ?

cat? get under your car and hit your cat with your hand to hear for a rattle your talking about...

nopes done nothing, would there be something stuck in the cat ?

i wouldnt hit id grab the exhaust pipe joining to the cat and give it a good shake (unless you've tried this also), u dnt want to grab the cat and shake it incase its the shield, it happend to my mums car and lukly it was the shield

tried tightening all the bolts on the exhaust system?
