Hey guys been trying to find out the differences between 96spec and 98 spec standard DC2R suspension. Is there any differences in spring rates, bracket mounting positions? Is there any differences visually? And yes i have searched but there isn't much information on it. Apparently 98+ have higher spring rates.

This seems to indicate that Honda decided to increase the stiffnes of the spring slightly but decrease the dampening of the shocks. Also the anti roll bars were thickened. Perhaps someone who knows more about this can explain....."
this is also from the vid i posted buti different part. apart from that i dont know any visual differences

that is correct lan san. 96-97 spec springs are plain black and 98+ have the colours. NFI why.

thanks that helps out heaps. Because i have a set sitting at home and i want to get rid of. But i was unsure of what year they came from. When i matched them up against the stock AUDM ones the springs are entirely different. JDM seem to have a lot more coils and from memory the coils are 2mm thicker.
