Hi,

I have noticed a slight performance drop in my B16A delsol.
All fluids are fine though I have overfilled the oil. I checked the plugs and they are a bit worn with quite a bit of carbon deposits so I will be changing them (any suggestions on type/brand?). But my main concern is that there was oil on the plug thread. Now I am not sure if the the mechanic who installed the plugs used motor oil to stop them seizing up but its concerning that there is any oil in that area. Should I be worried?

Go standard NGKs, don't bother with irridium.
It's not a major concern in my opinion but you should address it ASAP. Try unbolting the rocker cover and using gasket glue on the head around the spark plug holes and on all the bends in the gasket. That should fix the problem - that's how I fixed mine :)

probably nothing to worry about. u should drain a bit of oil though if you've over filled it. not good for performance or life of the motor lol

^ have to define 'overfilled' though
i usually keep mine 2-3mm above the full hole in my b18 just incase
if it's a massive amount then yeah drain out a bit
