Depends on where the rust is. You might be able to just replace a panel for $50 or $100 <lol>

lol 2.5k for doors and hatch?

it would cost you cheaper to find the parts at the wrecker and respray it, wouldn't it?

thing is just stay away from that shit.

i thin k that upless the rust is in the firewall or the actual shell of the car, then u shouldnt worry, if not, go and ask a trustworthy panel beater who isnt gonna do u without vaseline.

depending completely on how much rust there is, it would be a contest between replacing the parts and actually bothering to fix them.

if there is rust on panels, don't worry too much because they can't quote you too high on fixing it or else you could just buy a new panel/door/bonnet.

It's when you have rust on the frame/roof or quarter panel that they'll nab you on cost.

As a general stay away from rust in those areas. with panels just find out how much they are brand new, you'll have to pay for painting either way.

Hell, worse comes to worst you could always go aftermarket (and this is where I get bashed and mugged for even suggesting it :P) and keep those costs really low.

Where's the rust?
