I have the Jap spec b16a with obd0.

I have a little hunch that the injectors are faulty.

I've been having a headache for too long with this thing.

Its randomly misfiring for some unknown reason when it gets hot or in warm weather.

I had just changed the leads but just to be sure I changed them again.
Same with the spark plugs, new plugs went in.
Thought it was the ICM/igniter, changed that.

but its still happening.

When its hot and running on the 3 cylinders, I pulled out the leads one by one to find out which cylinder was the culprit.

All the cylinders have spark, so which leads me to believe its a faulty injector.

I was going to change the rotor button, rotor cap and coil just to be sure but every lead I pull out of the plugs while the engine is on and misfiring have spark.

Is it the injector?

what else, any ideas?

its doing my head in.

if so, will dc2r or teg vtir injectors plug and play with my engine?

if not, which injectors do i have to source?

Please help.

thanks

Everything highlighted in red was referring to the dizzy, they are parts inside the dizzy.

so yes, I've checked nearly everything niside the dizzy already,

Thought you would have picked that up from my 1st post.

but thanks for trying to help.

you have to use low ohm injectors, Such as D16A8, if you use DC2 Injectors you have to bypass the injector resistor block. OBDO injector connectors wont fit OBD2 injectors either

Update:-

I have finally after months of searching for the problem, fixed the misfiring issue.

It was a bad/loose connection on the resistor box.

happened when i unplugged to install a strut brace.

I think the resistor box is playing up again.

it looks like a sealed unit. what can i do about it?

anyone with ef8 and done conversion to obd1 or obd2 and have spare one ?
