spring height

Just wondering if anyone know how many finger gap there is on a stock ek4 (from wheel to guard), both front & rear?

I need to increase my height, moved to a really steep driveway and can't afford to keep scrapping my front lip.

Also anyone know the spring rate?

Ok this might help with spring rates for others;

Its from a US so not in KGs

For 96-00 Civics (EJ6-8 and EM1 chassis codes)
96-00 EX - 165F/80R (P/P)
99-00 Si (EM1) - 201F/99.8R (P/P)
97, 00-01 ITR - 250F/250R (L/P)
GS-R - 200F/95R (P/P)
CTR - 240/240 (L/P)

Yeah the driveway is forcing me to raise.
I've had a word to the council and they tell me its $10k to get it fixed, which i can't afford.

Can't afford coilovers cos i'm paying off the house.....

So looks like back to stock springs, until i can afford coilovers

Stock springs on EK1 w/ 16", i could stick my foot into the gap. It had a 4-5inch gap if i recall.

I'm running 16s on my EK1 with low profile tires (i think the total wheel diameter is very slightly smaller than the stock wheels) and stock sussy until i can find/afford coilovers. There's a whopping 4.5 finger gap (3.25inch) at the front and 5 finger gap (3.5inch) at the back.
Very depressing to look at.....you must be desperate.

bugger...... with my rims prob means it will be about 3 1/2 fingers or so

I currently have 5zigen springs 1/2 finger gap at front & 2 fingers at rear. I beleive its close to super lows.

I'd like to get it to 2 finger at front if possible, looks like stock em1 springs and sell mine and i'll have to look around for something that only drops 30mm.

FYI - KYB AGX shocks with stock springs give 3 fingers in front.
On a good note, can't feel the bumps in the road ;)
