A 205/50/15 of one brand might be a similar size to a 225/50/15 of another brand. The numbers are moreso model identifiers than accurate measurements. If you can't find a 215 then a 205 or 225 (if your rims are wide enough) will work just fine.

Yeah it doesnt differ that much mate, maybe by afew %... Theres standards that they have to adhere to...

Anyways yeah no 205/50's I know taleb sells 215/45 but I want 215/50's or 55's

215 in 15s are rare.
215 in 16s are more common

Care to share a link to such standards? I bet you can't...

I've compared side by side a 205/50/15 Yoko A539 with a 195/50/15 BS RE-01R and the 195 was at least 15mm wider (~7.5%). The 205 version of the Bridgestone is at least 15mm wider than the 195. This is only one example of a particular 205/50/15 being over 15% wider than another 205/50/15. A little bit more than a few %.

Have you ever seen a 205 wide Yoko A048 or Toyo R888? They're enormous!

I'll repeat it again, the numbers aren't to be taken as gospel. They're a "model" moreso than a measurement.

So am I - A539 and RE-01R are both street tyres.
