hi everyone~i recently thinking to reduce the weight of my EG~ i heard that the rear drum brake with trailing arms are almost a double of the rear disc brake with trailing arms~ also the advantage to convert to rear disc is better brake power~

so is it ture?

i can reduce the weight+ better brake power if i swap the drum to disc~ is it correct???

thanks~

i wouldn't say double, perhaps be the slightest but yeah the main reason for changing to discs is to run cooler with the brakes in the rear as the discs can dissipate the heat faster than an encapsulated drum. The weight saved is not worth the $$

what a waste of time trying to save weight by taking off the drums,
if u are up to that stage are your windows perspex?
the dash and all interior taken out? including the sound deadening?
what a waste of time.
