hi the oil catch can under the plenium...
i removed the catch can and replaced the hole with a welsch plug and ran the pipe to a breather
now the car is blowing heaps of smoke and its oil smoke could this have caused the problem or what has anyone had this happen before

a catch can is there for a reason to collect blow by oil and if you remove it you will then start to burn that oil thats why you have oily smoke i suggest putting it back on or buying somthing that looks better if thats what your going for :)

that can , is a oil seperator/cooler unit. It collects blowby and that leads to the PCV , and then goes into the intake manifold. Follw this circut and your car should run fine
