Hi guys,
New to the car scene so please bare with my basic questions. My mate told me I'm going to need new tyres on my car soon as they're getting bald.
Can someone please explain what these numbers mean?
xxx/xx/xx ...last two means size? i.e. 15" 17" etc?
How much should I be looking to spend on "decent" tyres?
Which brands should I be looking at for bang for your buck/low on cash/high rolla tyres?
Info that may help you with my query: I have a DC2 VTIR with 15" rims (stock USDM GSR rims).
Thanks in advance,
Duckey

for instance 205/45/r16
r16 - diameter of the rims ur putting the tyres on
205 - depth of the tire
45 - sidewall width which is a percentage of the depth of the tyre, hence 45% of 205
id be more thorough but its 4am and im still at uni. had a few cigs and im trippy as shit.
search up google man they are still your bff
