Odyssey Multi-View Camera System

Hi,

anyone know much about this for the new MY09 model and when we might get it in Australia?

Can it be fitted after-market or does it have to be factory fitted ?

Is there an alternative system out there invented by anyone else ?

its already available on RB3 as option for JDM model as seen that in person 11/08 in HKG. Honda Australia thinks thats a waste in Australia due to the fact they have to maintain their profit which have delete all the good features fm JDM model even the bloody double din screen replace by a 90s style radio/cd player (thats all my opinion).

Theory behind this is 4 super wide angle cameras installed at the front, back and underneath both side mirrors. the computer merge all four images with the top view of the car to create an image like fm satellite. the rear position prediction image/lines involve a sensor around the steering column which can be changed simultaneously when u turn yr steering. I think the satellite image can be done aftermarket but 99.99% the rear view system can't.

You can make a squillion if someone developed an all rounds camera after-market system !

If it cost $2000-$4000, I would fit it no questions asked !
