Hey guys,

After NEW engine mounts for my DC2 - looking at Hasport ($535) and Innovative ($380 or $404). Heard many good things about Hasport but Innovative is about $150 cheaper.

Any thoughts?

Also is there a major difference in rigidness between the Steel mounts ($380) and Billet Aluminum ($404) both from Innovative.

Regards,

Duck

i made the same thread as this on hondatech a long time ago when i needed to find out - and from what i was told both produce great products, and innovative is as good as quality as hasport.

hey i think i just read it - quite informative. im torn between the two now lol.

i want something that will last but this is my daily car so i dont want something that will make my car vibrate like crazy.

i really need to change the tranny mount as mines FUBAR - my mate told me i might as well change all three of them.

lol... no can do man. the hasport mounts vibrate like crazy, especially when the air cons on. i'm pretty sure innovative mounts are the same as well. daily driven cars, i would use oem. it vibrates so much the your shit is just gonna slide out of your ass without knowing. loll

I prefer the innovate 60A mounts for the street, they dont vibrate any where near as much as the hasports and they are cheaper, its a win win.

Charlie from GPC adviced me to go for OEM... nothing beats original!
I am also going to change my mounts soon in my EF8, their only 20yrs old... (new OEM ones should last till @ 2029 i reckon, if I still got the car!)

OEM are good enough if you have a standard motor.. Innovative are great value for money, i have used them before and have friends who have used them as well.

Go innovative, and with the AUD where it in comparison to the USD you will be getting them at a good rate shipped over!

We use innovative on the race civic. Holding up fine after 2 season of racing.

HASPORT 62a on my EGK24A hold up good since 2007. Over 150 passes down the 1/4 mile (7000 rpm launch on slicks ) and 4 trackdays so far. We had bad experience with Innovative , replacement bushings took over 6 months to arrived.

i can vouch for this.. this is completely rediculous. customer service from innovative is nothing but complete shitness

same quality, different name, minor design differences, both will be 100% fine, not just because i'm selling some, if they were'nt any good they wouldn't have been added to my project car. Nothing to worry at all which every way you go. Both proven products.

innovative 60a steel mounts here daily driven. No hassles. don't find the vibrations bad at all.

Haven't had to deal with their customer service, sounds very ordinary

just be very mindful of what you're getting yourself into mate... whilst they made my car MUCH more fun to drive when i feel like "driving" and made launches and gear changes much more positive and precise... they made it a complete, total and utter pain in the arse when you are grannying and want a nice quite smooth ride...

But then i think im getting old anyway :-)

I got my Hasport 62a's from Yonas at JDMYard, top service as always

I know this thread is alittle old, but I was wondering what the difference is in this Innovative mount kit http://www.hamotorsports.com/b19550.html , and this Hasport mount kit http://www.hamotorsports.com/dcstkmounts.html ? They show that they will ship over here, but I just want to make sure I'm ordering the right kit. It's for my EG with B18C

In the links you provided the Innovatives are 2-bolt, Hasports are 3-bolt, although Innovatives do come in 3-bolt if you need it anyway (http://www.hamotorsports.com/b10150.html).

In the end they will both do the same job, so I would go for the cheapest one (Innovative). I've had a set of Innovatives in my car for over a year now and wouldn't have it any other way :)

How about new OEM mounts + Energy suspension inserts?? or not worth the money? Might as well get new hasport?

ive got hasport in my car, and they come with a lifetime warentte, where as oems are prone to break after a while.
i think it really depends what you want it for.

obviously oem' ones cannot work with conversions for certain cars, but if your changing them for the sake of changing them or for the bling, might aswell stay with oem.

innovative/hasport when there is a hardcore purpose that oem does not provide!

U cant hav much fun with oem 1s, as soon as ur rear mount goes ur torque mounts want to follow.
im runin hasports and the vibrations arnt wat every1 talks about, its not that bad it is noticable mostly on idle and aircon but when u drivin u 4get that u got em in dere,

Me toooooo. took 4 months for my traction bar to arrive from innovative... they would just say "it will be ready in a few days" but it never was... great quality product but terrible service
