I think to change the number plate lights, you have to take off the interior plastic. The fuel filter is under the seat I think but I'm not too sure about it.

Fuel filter is an in-tank unit. U have to remove the seat and fuel pump cvr to get to it. Same as DC5.
And yes,u have 2 remove the tailgate trim to change the globe

Steve, it doesn't have a conventional fuel filter as such....the EP3/DC5 dont have this and relies on the intank pump's pick up mesh to do the filtering. If you really need to, just buy a walbro kit of something and do an upgrade at the same time :)

I wouldn't worry too much unless you have fuel delivery problems :)

yes its actually under ur rear seat. Got my fuel filter changed at my 80,000km major service. Was actually still good and everything looked clean, probably running 98oc all the time helped out.

would the walbro kit be a better option or just go get a replacement unit? my car is lacking fuel when it gets to 4-5000k and when fuel light is on i cant go half throttle, this has to be the filter problem right?
