Which head??

Hey guys, Just got a Ed Civic with a B20b conversion. Got microtech and all the good stuff, exhaust fuel system and wat not, I was told it has a B16 or B18 vtec head on it, is there anyway to tell which one it is??

its stamped on front of the head shud say p72 which is b18 or pr3

Why does it matter ? If the head is worked on then knowing if it was a b16 or b18 doesnt matter. They basically the same anyway.

What happens when he wants to change the intake manifold?

My guess would be B16 as the DOHC writing is larger than the VTEC. That is a certain type of B16 Gen1 head. The P72 VTiR Head had the vtec larger than the DOHC......... But the rocker Covers are also interchangeable.....

exhaust wont make difference, they both the same, Only problems u would run into is the intake manifold.
