My intro

I Have a 1985 AH Civic Runnin 1.5L 12 Valve Motor.. Got the rev tacho, Digital clock , Import taillight RED Middle strip,Sunroof,Grey with colour coded bumpers,5spd.. All Emissions junk removed, still got my Original 13inch wheels with Hubcaps, Flush style headlights.. and a 32/36 Webber Carb

Have been Thrashing Around with it for a few years now.. Only mod being a 32/36 webber on it ..Whats a safe rev limit cos iv found i can rev pretty high(7500rpm) but have blown a few Cam belts ,hole in piston , head gaskets,and generally killing it all the time . Thinkin maybe i should stay under 6000rpm.. Iv got a standard carb back on it , but it runs like shit , so goin back to the webber.. but dont wanna kill it again ..Also got some extractors but never got em on ..Thinkin maybe a cheap straight thru and them would help

Actually broke my old engine for the 5th time in 2 years a few months back..So swapped engines from the $50 boonga Cream Civic my neighbour sold me..Ran like shit. Guessin it was the Carb So Whacked my 32/36 Webber on That today..SOOOO Much better to drive and the sound it makes rules .I still havnt changed my exhaust or put my extractors on yet ..But fully sounds hell loud with a massive note change when i floor it..Its like power band or some shit

My car bottoms out the shocks on bumps on corners , they must be shagged
I have spare Gemini shocks will they swapover or do i need special ones..
And how do i lower it Too .

Only revs too 4800 in second and dies .. goes bout 5200 in 3rd .. Think its the Spark

Shocks can be bought from US ebay.

Yes, you will need special ones no doubt, torsion bars aren't easy to deal with, let alone adapt suspensions from another car.

You'll need lower rear springs and to wind down the torsion bars, once again there is a DIY on RPR.

It would have been installed at factory champ, it was a factory option if I'm not mistaken.

kool not bad for $50 Registered . I spent bout $1500 so far on Spares and stufff to get keep her goin..Webber, Swapped headlights, New Clutch,Rev tacho ,Recond BBooster, Import rear Garnish , Digital clock, CrXConsole, boot cover flap, New windscreen , Starter motor, Alternator ,New Radiator, Head a few times, Complete Spare Car for $50 and more .. . Couldnt get a piston few years back , Local Honda Dealer got Honda America to Make a new one from there old cast!! it Took 4 months to get it .. Before that the Biggest Honda Wreckers in Perth pulled 4 ew2 heads off and none of the had the same pistons

the problem is the body is already low underneath...any lower and it'll scrape speed bumps on the exhaust.. ****in guards are huge. wheels are tiny

Car cains along and revs to bout 4800RPM then dies ..changed sparkplugs , leads,.. Guessin its maybe the coil.. or dizzy anyone ..,experienced this before ..used to go fine dunno what happened

Bort a coil and it fixed it for about for a bit .. Took out my seats and went to the drags .weighed it there and it waS 800KG !! But my cutting out Problem was back again and it kept cutting out just after 4500rpm so best out of 3 runs was 18.3.. really want this sorted i think it can do 16's when sorted ...
