Hi guys, I am looking at getting a Carbing front strut brace for my car (EP3). Carbing offers a steel version and a aluminum version for the same brace. Will the weight between the two vary much? I personally prefer the steel for its rigidity...Please add your opinions please!! Thanks!

I have the steel one - Front upper and aliminium one - Rear upper.
There is a big difference between the 2,in terms of weight.Supposedly I heard both are as strong as each other but the steel one weighs a bit more. The aliminium one is light as!

Thanks for that. I wouldnt mind the steel one if it's only 2 or 3 kilos heavier than the alum one. Plus it's about 100 bux cheaper too. :)

I would say exactly that 2 or 3 kilo's,no more.
