Boot wont open

The boot in my ek1 suddenly wont open. Neither the key or the pull up thin at the front works. It clicks. Can someone help thx.

hmm. Lock is catching

perhaps someone has hit your car from behind , a small shunt but enough to misalign the bumper or boot. Look into it -

yeah i think benj is right but mine was opposite of yours with my hatch i got hit and it didn't close so we just got a screw driver removed the cover and realigned it properly if you can do that it may be fixed, but its closed and i wouldn't know how you could get into your boot.

hmm thx for the comments but i dont think its been hit or no signs that there is a hit. I can hear the lock clicking to open the open door light even goes on.

Spray some WD40 in the latch, jiggle it around while its locked, then go unlock it and see if that works.

or the key doesnt turn at all.

try to push/hit the boot lid from the inside while getting someone to hold the boot realise open
