View Full Version : looking for DIY link of removing wheel stud in integra
yeah as my wheel stud is broken i'm looking to replace it and i'll need the link, i've done a search but couldn't find it so if anyone can lend a hand cheers

umm dude, what teggy sometimes its cheaper to replace the whole arm. considering u need to press ur bearings outs and bearings = $$$$
Wheel stud just consists of taking the Brakes off the disc, then taking the hub bolt off. Once hub is off, flip it on the side where you hit it out. Insert new stud.

As above. A decently sized mallet HIT will knock it out. It IS pressed in , but you CAN simply place it in , then use a couple of nuts and a couple of washers and simply tighten it into place. Use your imagination how.

You cannot remove it like that. There is not enough room to wiggle out the stud. I ve been there before and cannot remove the stud unless you press the hub out of the trailing arms.
you might as well get extended studs if you remove the hub from the arm and replace your wheel bearings as well.
Agreed with suijin, u might as well buy another arm thats in good nick for cheap.
