Aim:

To remove the antenna but keep the stock look!?

For a long time I've been wanting to remove the antenna because I never use it but I never did like those antenna block off plates and a piece of tape over the hole wasn't gonna cut it for me!

Finially a solution!

Required:

* A hacksaw blade
* A Glove

Steps:

There's just 1!

Cut the sucker off!!

So slip on ya glove to save the pain :p and hack-saw ya antenna off.Don't start twisting the sucker or you will bend the chassis metal:

That's where it was,I didn't get a shot of it in there:

I NEVER use it and save the weight! + everytime the aerial would accidently go up,it wouldn't wind back down,so,have to get out and push it down.I know you could fix that,but I did fix it! hehehe

:thumbsup: Anyways,IF I had seen this DIY AGES AGO when the aerial started pissing me off,I would have done it,therefore saving the MANY stops on the side of the road to push it back down.

Sharing is caring,no?
