Ek 17th bday gift

So this year i turned 17 in mid Feb, when March hit i got a present :D
My first Honda, 1996 EK4 green in color, stock all-round with 190k on the dial
it did come from 2 other owners, in fact both were elder drivers with full service history till 178k (thank god).

Taking this bad boy home, not trusting the dealer, bought new oil spark plugs and changed them the next evening. the old sparks where still pretty new but, since I'm the new owner should give it some good stuff.

(few months into owning it)
The first mods i dropped in was a Simota (whale penis) intake. Was bloody hard taking out the stock intake, not knowing that i needed to remove the bumper.

That was pretty much how i left it for the next 4 months.
Its been 8 months now owning the civic, its got new oil don't know about Magnitech 10/40 anyone tried it?
Also got myself a grille and some replica spoon power mirrors
got the grille on but had no idea about the mirrors so they are still sitting in the box in my boot.

Getting the grille on was simply a 5-10minute job.

Heaps more that i want to do to it: rear lip, front lip, coil-overs, touch ups, respray bonnet, deep dish rims 16", spoon exhaust and duckbill spoiler.
Will come later on as i need a job :D

welcome man. i bet you are stocked about your first car. keep your mods clean and simple, you want to enjoy driving it. i think you should concentrate on suspension and brake mods.

Hell yeah i am! When i took it for a drive after taking forever to get the (whale penis) in, should have seen me man. was a little happy chap
im 100% sure the suspension needs to be changed the brakes can wait, they work good still.

I am about to buy a set of the EK4 Alloys.

The only disadvantage of the Civic Hatch that I have found yet, is that it is very difficult to remove a drunk (nearly throwing up) friend from the back seat :P

when i took out the stock air box in my em1 it was a mongrel as well. Managed to get it all out through the guard rather than having to take the bumper off though :)
