Will a D series Radiator fan fit onto a B series radiator?
both are half size radiators

d series have smaller hose diameter than the B series.

you can use a D series if you use hose clamps and tighten the hoses down to clamp onto the D radiator

the cooling system on the b16 or d16 are pretty top notch, not alot of room for improvement over stock items, don't go spending or wasting time/money you don't need, it's one of the many items they've over engineered

... i put a b16 into an EG, the front cut i had, had no radiator, i bought a radiator without a fan (EK4 rad) and now need a fan, im only asking if a dc2 or d16 fan will fit because there are absolutly no b series radiators for sale anywhere which i think is crap cause theres civics and vtecs everywhere

a dseries one will do for a long time and will work well, hell Honda cant get them in as they keep no stock, I could always send you one from my rad guy if it gets too hard, think he's dishing out koyo oem reps for 370 new

lol, it's like s13 parts, just because they're everywhere like hookers on a red light street corner, doesnt mean the parts are, took me a whole 2days to find a suitable headlight for ours with no damage to the foglights (which is a common problem)

hell the cheapest off the shelve item in QLD is 350 installed if you bring your own coolant

ebay make sure the orings are intact and the right size if you do, the only probelm with any of those rads

well i can pick up a DC2R rad with the 2 fans for $100 so theres no way id buy a half size for 300 odd dollars, might just pick up the dc2r one and c how we go
bloody exhaust manifold gaskets are even harder to source

well a dc2 one is great and will work, I assume you have no ac anymore?

well the mrs is 1 step from breaking up with me unless her car is finished before the 4th of dec (mind you ite been 2 years :p) so whatever gets it through its blue slip is good enough for me, although i might even try and see if the fan from the dc2 rad fits onto the b16 one

ive been using my old dseries rad fan on my eg2 rad for 3 yrs now no problems. So u can stick with a normal dseries fan. They should be cheap from a wrecker.

you can use a dc2r radiator
but you need to just modify the 2 lower radiator mounts on the eg
along the lower radiator support

you can still use the ac from dc2r as the ac radiator is the only difference
every thing else is teh same for the b series
just have to do some custom brackets
if you wnat it that bad

eg6 came with single core
so having a double core in the aussie climate will be a lot safer

i dont care man, whatever. needs to be cleaned, its covered in dust and cobwebs. the car was a porject car but have got a CRX now to drive and i think i like it better.
