hi guys,
just replaced my old jvc head unit with a pioneer one and now when playing music it sounds like sh8t volume on 24, speakers sounds like its gonna blow up..only got front speakers. Old head unit sounds perfect..what did i do wrong?help

you probably need to describe it better then "it sounds like sh8t"

lets say it sounds like when you turn the volume up high..rattling noise, no bass, high pitch noise..

sounds like you need to fine tune the EQ settings on the deck.
Also make sure the LOUD feature is not turned on cause this can overpower the speakers causing them to sound like this.

and make sure you have correct polarity

i had the same problem with mine, after installing a high end headunit, it really pushes them oem speakers to its limits.. i really advise you to ditch them oem paper cone speakers and buy a decent pair, even those $25 ones from jb hifi makes a big difference. hope it helps

probly go for something from www.secureshopping.com.au while your changing your speakers might aswell go for the best..

make lyrics/noise come out of ur speakers....leave the bass for the sub;) (if u have one)
