hey guys,

Im looking into buying a ITR and i came across this one: what do u guys think?

http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?R=7960920&__Qpb=true&Cr=6&__Ns=pCar_PriceSort_Decimal%7c1%7c%7cpCar_RankSort _Int32%7c1%7c%7cpCar_Make_String%7c0%7c%7cpCar_Mod el_String%7c0&keywords=&__N=1216%201282%204294965322%204294965105%20903&silo=1011&__No=30&seot=1&tsrc=allcarhome&__Nne=15&trecs=99&__sid=1253AF801502

The VTEC isnt kicking in apparently, is this a Big problem? or could it just be the solenoid? if its the vtec solenoid how much does it cost to fix?

Also is it normal for ITR's to drink abit of engine oil when u VTEC alot?

Thanks

heres a link about it: http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123583

To be clear - nfi about transmission (depends what calculator you use), and same with engine block, however internals and head are 100% integra type r.

let me know if you're interested or if you want any more info.

everything in the carsales description is 100% accurate.

LOL THAT FCKING DOOR. I SWEAR IT'S NOT. COME SEE THE CAR and you'll see. i think it was waxed or something, when the camera flashed it happened. i will take a picture without the flash to show you. I'm selling it cos i got told to, not cos i want to. i want to stick a k20a in it, and have one waiting. unfortunately i won't be, my mate will (with my number plates as well).

OLD: excuse me? yes they are.
EDIT: ok, i'm 99% sure they are. they're from the first model s2000s, painted white. if i'm wrong please tell me how. (btw, i wasn't jumping down your throat, just pretty sure they are s2000 wheels)
EDIT2: and also, they're 16 inch, matching the specs of the type r wheels so they're better than getting later model s2k wheels

1. I'm 100% their not s2000 wheels
2. They are optional Honda Wheels and they come in white.
3. Why would s2000s come with wheels to match the type r specs? s2000s are RWD and have wider rear wheels.
4. there are only 2 types of 16" s2000 wheels (99-01) (02-03)

best to check regularly anyway to make sure oil is not used excessively

but if driven on high revs a lot, yeah.. but do check/replace the pcv valve
