Hey guys

I have bleed heaps of clutch for friends and etc, never had a problem with it.
Tried to bleed my civic today but no air or fluid come out of the slave cylinder. Fluid remains the same, it doesnt go down, been doing it for 40min straight.

What u guys think is the problem?

I changed to ITR brake booster if that helps, brakes probably need bleeding again. Do i need to bleed my brakes first before i bleed my clutch?

Thanks in advance guys

brakes shouldn't have any effect on the clutch.

whats your process on bleeding the clutch?
are you pumping the clutch?

yep, pump clutch few times, hold clutch down then let air out of slave cylinder

hmm yea that is very strange, cause if theres no fluid coming out then technically the clutch is not working.

You letting out the fluid through the valve thingy that i think is a 5mm size nut on the slave cylinder to release the pressure?

id say the nipple is RUSTED/BLOCKED.

Remove the nipple with a 8mm socket or spanner...remove it all the way out. I bet once you do fluid will piss out.

What happens , is the tiny hole gets rust or other crap and blocks. Happens on old calipers too

no fluid what so ever in the system, clutch just stays down,

i open the nipple then push the slave cylinder backwards against the air so then the air excapes from the top.

Then i just follow the normal procedure
