Is all Jazz fit with Keyless entry

Hi Guy, i have just bought a 2003 Jazz GLi however didn't come with remote, and the seller told me the car never have one.

Isn't keyless entry the standard for Honda Jazz? does the seller lie to me due to missing the remote?

From 02 to middle/end of 03 the gli did NOT come with keyless entry. Honda added it to the gli in 04' I believe. I remember because I was considering getting the gli but I bought a VTI instead.
