Tyre Size and Matching Wheel Size

thinking of getting 15" wheels.. so what wheel size and offset will fit a 195/55 or 205/55 tyre? is 205 better than 195? it's for an EK1..

205 is better in that it has wider grip.
You prob want 205/50/15 otherwise your speedo will be out by abit.
205/55/15 will fit also as i had them before, just depends what you want them for.
I only got 205/55/15 cos i ran them slightly deflated for more traction. It won't help your daily driver or fuel economy

oh okay. .but isnt the EK9 has 195/55/15? i'm going for a higher profile tyre because i want more comfort. i want to minimise the noise when it hits bumps and holes..

what wheel size and offset do you use for this tyre size?

the ek4 comes with 195/55/15 also
I ran 205/55/15 on ek4 rims, which are 40 offset from memory

do you want the wheels to be flush with the guards ? Try a lower offest and wider rim such as 15x7 , +20 or 25 etc

just boring EM1 rims on 195x50x15.
Look fine on the car but sit alittle in for my liking ( dude to offset).
