Hi all.

I recently bought a front and rear badge from inlinefour (link below).

http://www.inlinefour.com/gencivtyphba.html

As far as i've been told and can see they look genuine but the pins dont line up.

Now i have also been told that the badges are different in size for front and rear.

Further research shows that the bigger one is for the front but the funny thing is it fits perfectly at the rear but not front.

The other badge (smaller one) doesn't fit front or rear the pins do not line up and the front has tiny holes compared to the rear.

Are these really genuine badges?? I have emailed inlinefour to see if they have sent me the wrong ones but im waiting for a reply.

Anyone notice a similar problem when getting badges for your dc2r???

U could of been stitched, not being mean but it happens...
But then again i might be wrong, maybe something like this you could considering buying directly from a Honda dealer?
My opinion ^^

For the price you paid for them they should be genuine you can get cheap red H badge for $10 of ebay

You're right here but i dont like the cheap $10 ones. I did buy a pair and the red behind the paint looks terrible it's not glossy and a dark red, it's almost orange.

Further to original post:

I measured both badges which match up in size with my mates DC2R however his is a JDM model.

I have a feeling these are jdm badges cause as the front pins dont line up and the badge is actually a bit curved meaning that even if i sand off the pins it wont sit flush when i stick it.

Anyone else find this?

Im thinking maybe some silicon or something to fill the slight gap underneath cause it's too much trouble to send em back etc unless someone is looking for one and i might sell it and then i'll just buy an aus one.

the JDM DC2R has a bigger rounder badge i believe.

The front badge does have a slight curve in it which i've worked out it is for the JDM body as the surface for the aus itr is more flat.

Hopefully i'll be able plug the gap with some silicon and it should come up a treat!

I am aware if of this but if you read the previous post before you commented you would of realised that the badge is curved and not suited for my car hense it wont stick in the middle portion thats why im saying the silicon.

You will not see it.

the badge base touches with the car at the bottom and top. it's just so it will stick in the middle of the badge.

It's not for going around the edges if thats what you're thinking.

I had the same issue when I got badged (Front). bought one off ebay for cheap. turns out to be OEM JDM badges (Front). *you will know if the pins are too wide and the bonnet doesnt align with the back of the badge.

Few days later I ordered an official one from dealers and it fits perfectly. $110AUD =/

Lesson learnt. Don't be cheap on the badges cause itll end up costing you more T_T.
