Hi i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem
under certain freqeuncies the plastic trims on the door vibrate alot, does anyone know how to fix this?
Also whats a good place to place the crossover in a civic hatch?

afaik sound deadening is for the actual door?
its not my door thats vibrating, its the plastic trim

deadener may help, it will make the trim heavier if nothing else (thus a bit harder to vibrate), but deadening willy-nilly and fixing the problem will be more a matter of good fortune than good management. try to work out exactly what's vibrating then dampen it with deadener, some form of foam or whatever else you may need; it really depends on exactly what is vibrating.

ah okies. sorie my bad.. hahaha i fink should ask the guys in the audio sectioin of this forum, they could also tell you places to get the stuff etc. :thumbsup:

hmmm someone told me deadener will not fix the problem, others say it *might*
seeing as the stuff isn't cheap, I'd like to make sure before I go ahead and do it.
I've taken the door trim off and I can't seem to find what's causing the vibrations.
I was wondering if anyone was having the same problem :)
just take the door out and have a look if anything is loose.. that could be a start

I have the same sort of problem. its my lock switch that rattles like crazy.

I just went outside to check out mine and it rattles too!
now we just have to figure out how to stop it :(

well, if something rattles. u might want to try removing the panel and just opening your eyes wider to see the situation =o)

yeah its tricky. cuz it still has to move to be able to lock and unlock the door. I partly solved the solution by installing bigger speakers in the back so that by the time they start rattling the music is louder and I can't hear it ;)

i have the same problem
it was the actual door handle part but 2 lasy to get in there n fix it.

yeh it seems to be comming from the key/lock/door handle plastic bit
its really noticable from the outside =/
