Aren't they both a waste of time anyway? Just get an ECU :)

well i bought the vafc2 and i only plan on doing bolt on mods which should be ideal with the vafc2 :) If my plans change i can always get a new ecu in the future

Is it really that good? I thought it was just a piggy-back ECU that allowed you to change the VTEC changeover point?

yeh thats basically it and some air flow stuff, its fairly basic but good enough for me atm

Reckon you'll get much extra by using it in conjunction with I/H/E, than you would in comparison to I/H/E without the VAFC II?

Well they're $400 +/- aren't they? For only a little more you could get a decent ECU I think

I reckon they're kinda cool <lol>

Have you had it dyno'd with I/H/E before VAFC2? Send me a PM and let me know how it goes please?

I'd take 6kw any day lol. That was after it was tuned with the VAFC2 yeah? Affect your consumption at all?

Yeah show me. I've got an EF8 with the standard B16A. CAI, RS*R 2.25" 4-2-1 headers and a 5Zigen 2" cat-back and really wanna get the best out of the mods without doing internal work (big $$$$$).

you can chip an ecu and run crome for less than 300 bux

well you can buy a chipped ecu from ebay ie

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chipped-Honda-Acura-Vtec-ECU-Computer-P28-P30-P72-P73_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem2557315623QQitemZ16 0376641059QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAcce ssories
and use a moates and crome software to tune it up like a hondata

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Moates-Ostrich-2-0-USB-Eprom-Emulator_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem45ef7b2c51QQit emZ300370570321QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5 fAccessories

OR if your too nooob to use crome and moates just buy one of these ecus and tell them what your setup is , ive used them and they are pretty good at tuning

or if your handy you can chip your current ecu if its obd1 and use moates it will be even cheaper...

Aren't VAFC's only fuel map and vtec crossover adjustments? If you're going to use a piggyback, at least get an eManage for a few hundred so you can do ignition timing adjustments too. Otherwise go neptune, chrome or hondata
