Car i got completely stock a few months ago,
got xforce headers / exhaust and note sure what brand the intake pipe is but had to have it cut shorter cause the POD was right behind d radiator fan!.
On the performace side of things what next a FPR or CAM gears perhaps or maybe a ITR Throttle Body, ANY IDEAS PEOPLE
NOT WANTING TO GO THROUGH COST OF ENGINE SWAP

turbo.
What sort of performance are you after? Speed or Handling?

Im all up for handling mods but im more interested in peoples opinions or experience on the power mods side of things.
I would love to go turbo, but think its abit too costly for me right now.
What would be costing be for turbo install be, I'm guessing about 2/3 thousand i spose. And what boost would a B18b be cable of without reinforcing the engine internals..
Maybe I could get some suggestions also on what can be easily changed during the 100,000 major service ie Electronic water pump or FPR and walbro fuel pump (anyone got a simular setup with a rising rate fuel pressure system) I had one on a Mazda SP back in the day and it gave decent gains after replacing the fuel pump that died.
Has anyone tried an electronic water pump spose to give a few KW's and if I gotta replace the water pump at 100,000 anyways then why not a eletronic water pump? anyone tried em

it would cost closer to 5k for a decent turbo set up and you would not have to reinforce the engine bay unless your planning on running 11psi+
So it all depends on what you want to run?
unless your chasing every little bit of KW you can find, then go ahead with the electronic fuel pump (although im sure they free up more power when it comes to v8 big block engines... dont quote me though)

.... if you are after big gains its going to cost you big money mate... you next logical step is tuning, so get a tunable ECU... this will net you small gaisn in ddrivability and efficiency... next you can go cams and cam gears to optimise them... again, not huge gains...
Or you can go a different route as suggested above, and get an ITR short ratio box with LSD, and a lightened flywheel, this will liven the car up...
all depends on how much more power you really want

any suggestions on tunable ecu's?

internals... pistons, rods, bolts, cams, and most importantly tune

Trust me dude ive been there and done, that your wasting your money doing up the non-vtec engine with cams etc
Imo start saving up for a lsvtec/b20 conversion, if u look around get parts cheap, its not that expensive

I was thinkin about going with a Adaptronic ECU (one of the traders listed on these forums)
they have a list and comparison of competitors ECU's and piggyback systems
list is here http://adaptronic.com.au/comp.php (http://adaptronic.com.au/comp.php)

Adaptronic is good bang for buck for a standalone ECU

Dude, just leave it. You won't get anything out of it. Just make it look cool, and spend you money on a sound system. Don't go chasing power, out of a Honda, especially a non-VTEC Honda. Make it handle well.
oooorrrrrrrrrrrr.......
Throw a H22A in the back, and quad turbo it, and make it rear wheel drive. It'll be a FRR car. awesome...

Not to shoot to OP down~
But yeah vtecmachine has a point.
!..STILL..! do whatever pleases you.... its your car - do what you want.

depends on your personality and how u like to drive.
but i agree with the VTEC factor.
But dude it's your car, do what YOU think is right, no-one will criticise you unless it's rice basically.

In my opinion do these in this order:
- Extend pod filter to make it a CAI.
- Better rubber
- HD clutch, lightened flywheel, type r gearbox.
- Head work ---> valves, valve springs, retainers, porting, camshafts, camgears.
- ECU & tune
