Hi Peoples

Im wanting to get a sub/s pretty soon when i get my funds up enough.
Im looking at spending around the $300 possible $400 (Yes i know not much but i just need some extra bass in my car)

Im thinking the cheaper line subs from JB-hifi and autobahns and etc and i know there cheap and dont sound as good as top model ones but im on a low bugdet and its only going to be a beginer/cheap set up.

also ill need a amp in the budget but i have a two channel pioneer but probably is a bit to small for this type of setup so yeh.
i also have a twin 12" box so im covered there

so JB have a few:

http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/car-sound/subwoofers/orion-co124s-12-500-watt-sub/435859

http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/car-sound/subwoofers/sony-xsl120p5a-12-inch-sub-woofer/435838

or this but i already have the box
http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/car-sound/subwoofers/audioline-al12d-12-inch-boxed-subwoofer-double/435746

also theres a few others such as a clarion one and a kenwood one but there pretty much the same as the ones above.

now out of those which would be the ones to get and i know they are cheap shitty subs but i just need a bit more bass nothing to heavy though.

im maybe thinking also maybe just get a single sub and amp for the budget i do have and just leave the dual ox i have for later

i also have herd of that Joe bloke and have read on here and on the commodore forums :hide: that hes a good guy and has quality products and does some good deals but my budget is probably a bit low for his products.

anyways any help would be good :)
cheers
Travis

Yeh iv herd of jaycar actually bought some speakers from there before, they were decent and were good for the money i paid.

boss audio bro, fully sik haha

haha, yeh herd some stories about them.

Well iv decided to save up a bit more and when im ready possibly get a deal through Joe Bellisimo when im ready but probably wont be until after christmas.

Have been given a fairly New US-Audio Sub in a box off a mate becasue he bought a new car with a better sub already in it so that will do me until i get enough to get some decent gear.

jump into tonkins down there and have a listen to what you think you might want later and then you will get a better idea of how much you will roughly need to save on what you want/need.

well i dont think ill be getting a new sub anytime soon. Just got a quote to fix my air conditioning in my legend i was told $1800  Basically the pump or whatever it is is kinda rooted and some of the seals are gone on the lines and hes not sure weither the pump is still avalible or even parts to recondition the one i have on the car. So im kinda of rooted either way.

All my money will be either going to this or other things. im not sure though if its worth fixing the air con for the car or not as these arnt worth much anymore even though mine is in very good condition.

So im kinda stuck but i dont think ill upgrade my sound system anytime soon it gives ok bass now and sounds pretty good as it is but would be nice to have a decent louder sub but its decent still and the sub was free so eh.

Anyways

call Hanny's Performance here in Sydney. Ask for Robert or Peter, they will be able to help you with what parts you need.

+1 for jaycar. One of the very few companies I have a) never heard a bad word about and b) had LOTS of people signing their praises for high quailty on a budget in both amp and sub catagories.
