trying to clear a defect notice..

it's been classified as:

Major Defect - Yellow Label - Full inspection / Light vehicle - AUVIS

what i'm unsure of is the "full inspection".. Once i've rectified the defects listed and take it to a AUVIS (blue slip place?), will they only look at the listed defects, or will they go over every part of the car, just incase the officer may have missed anything.? (Trying to avoid changing anything i don't need to..)

Once it passess, do I only need to take the papers to the RTA, or will the RTA have to inspect my car too.?

Any info will help.

Cheers.

Yeah you take your papers to RTA and they just clear the defect.

RTA doesn't inspect your car, so you can go to someone that you know to clear it (alll you need is a stamp lol) and that's it, take it to RTA, they wipe it off, done deal finished.

Haven't been yellow labelled before, but it had stated that on 4 defects I got before, said full inspection, but they only inspected and addressed the bits that were defected and left everything else.

Take it to a place that does blue slips and once cleared they will sign the paperwork and you take it to the RTA.

RTA will not be checking the car!
