The 4th of Dec 09, Calder Park was open again for off-street meet. It was packed and because Bao ( Modproject EG H22A ) couldn't get in, I was the only Honda on the nite. He only missed it by 5 cars :(
Thanks for staying for the nite and help preparing the car tho Bao! :D
The other bad thing is I only have 3 runs from 6-10:30PM. That's how packed its was!!
The car was setup by Yonas & Zi at JDMYARD with stock AUDM K20A about 2 mths ago (Thanks guys). Then I fitted custom Tri-Y header, 3" exhaust and velocity stack. The engine is only running a base map at the moment.
Interiors was stripped, however the Cusco full cage stayed inside. It was running 23x8.5.15 slicks and also 3.5x24x15 at the rear.
First run 12.93 @ 102.42mph
Second run 12.87 @ 101.97mph
Last run 12.79 @ 104.06mph
I still getting use to the car, 1st and 2nd run were the worst, I redlined 2-3-4 gear. Last run only redline 3rd gear. Pitty only got 3 runs. I'm sure the car will do better next time :)
Some pics attached.
Great effort Kris , Another JDMyard Represent!
Should take the cage out , they are heavy !
Also this is another DRHonda k20a2 built
