just replace it with your spare in the boot unless its one of those yellow space saver ones.

he's just asking for opinions mate, no need to get all sticky about it.
but yea, +1 on replacing it with the spare wheel in the boot (if it's not a space saver)

Replacing with spare's outta the question coz the OP has the luxury edition and with luxury you get? A space saver! ... yeh go figure!?
I know exactly how you feel coz I've been there, done that. My thread here (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=121977) might help you out.

You might be able to pick up another oem lux rim from those big tyre joints.
That way you got full size spare! It still might be cheaper getting it repaired though.

Just get one of those mobile repair guys to fix it for you.I'm guessing approx.$50-$80.

The lux edition of the CU2 has a weird boot design that raises the boot floor if you try to stick a full size wheel in there hence the space saver.

any idea why its different from the standard tho? unless we are getting more features. ive actually never looked under the boot floor since ive bought the car lol.

how cheap is decent? ive badly scratched 1 rim and lightly grazed 2 others. might as well make it a set and scrape the 4th one so it looks like an intentional part of the design lol

Beats me!? Let me know if you find out? :p
I remember looking through both the STD and LUX editions at the last Sydney Motor Show and was just making up my mind on the Lux version when I saw the boot and was like: WTF!? I reckon a flat boot is more practical.

Look on google mate..
Theres actually alot of people who tend to repair gutter rushed rims etc
I did the same thing to my CU2 Luxury rim 5 months ago .
Initialy thought about buying new rim, at $850 it was out of the question. Spoke to repairers incl. Magman and they said you can only skim it once and advised that if I rashed it after that it's buggered for good. Quoted $120 for repair.
Basically it remains rashed at this stage and as time goes by you get over it and just don't go looking at it.
These rims are so easy to rash because there is basicaly no distance between the rim and the tire side wall for error. This is responsible for a disease I have named "Parking Rash Paranoia".
you can do what i did:
http://www.tsxclub.com/forums/1st-gen-car-care/10914-rim-repair.html
or... you can do what chriskoss suggested... eitherway :P

I thought about leaving it as well but I love my car too much to leave it like that... :(. AND because I had to pay out of my own pocket for it, I believe it has made me a better driver! :p. Now I am extremely careful around gutters and kerbs. Respect to kerbs and gutters! hahaha
