better yet take out the B16a2 which is in it and swap it over for a K20/24 and work that up ;)

legal? what license are you on? what state are you from?
do a bit of research into modified CRX's (there is a 12 second Del Sol that was built by a guy on this forum and you can look on youtube for drag vids). Fast to one is person is slow to another.

seriosly man if ur fast is anythin to my meanin of fast then ur best option is slamin a b20 bottom end and boost the shit out of it or defintly go K-swap .

i can jus buy parts and chuck it in, im from sydney australia
i cant put any defects so im lookin at legal parts
wat type of parts shuld i go for no engine swaping here
i jus wana make it fast like beat turbo cars, holdens etc
so i need sum parts which i can chuck in wich wont make it defect
lookin for spend about 3-5k max

to be honest i dnt think u wuld be able 2 get a N/A crx beating turboed cars(ur main japanese turboed cars) with a stock motor and putting 3-5k into the engine, but good luck with ur future modding.

p.s u myt be able to beat stock commos like the vr automatics nd wat not, u wuld hve 2 get a good launch though :p

If you keep your car n/a I would be budgeting for alot more then 5K...

If you find a turbo kit from the USA you might be able to get it in for 4-5K if your lucky. But then you would need to get it engineered for it to be legal.

BWAHAHAHAHA go find an EG GLi/Si civic hatch for ~$2,000... strip the interior completely... rip out the B16 from your Del Sol.. buy a B20 block ~$500... then whack it all into the EG civic.. leaves you with half your budget for labour and miscellaneous or N/A mods like I/H/E and Cams etc (if you can do the labour yourself).

I dont know man I have had an EG for almost 10 years now and just bought a Del Sol.. and they're pretty slow hey.. will take a lot ot get it 'fast'..

Smallish budgets aint going to make ur CRX or any Del Sol any faster.
All i would and can suggest is that u save anywhere between 10-20k. :D

And then be part of elite group of crx's that can really move.

Turboing it would be your best option for power.

With your budget your going to have to use other stock oem parts

Search for a used T3, either buy a pre-made manifold or custom make one.

Then with rx7 injectors & custom fuel rail , bosch 050 fuel pump or walbro equivalent, your pretty much done apart from exhaust, remap, or stand alone computer.

Online performance is the only shop in syd i can think of with honda/turbo experience, speak with them.

Your budget is on the low side, but if you look around this could be achieved with a little DIY.

The B16A Hondas aren't fast as stock cars - they're quickish. Basic mods will make then decently quick but otherwise you'll be spending closer to $5000-10000 to make it N/A fast
